These clips are great with the extra plastic piece and the pin to grab onto trousers, it avoids them flicking off all the time.

No need to remove rivet just pull clip apart and you are able to replace clip easily leaving wire section and rivet intact takes about 2 minutes with long nose pliers.

found these clips and now in the process of changing clips on all my father's braces as they are the only ones that hold on fast.
