Do you know what size braces to buy? Buying braces is easy, selecting the correct size not always so.
The majority of braces sold in stores are a standard 48" or 122 cm size which would generally be suitable for someone up to 6'1" tall. However this is only a guide and it is very much dependent on the size and build of the wearer. Some people have long legs and a short upper body. Some have big tummies or broad chests.
We not only sell standard size braces but also stock a large range of hand-crafted suspenders in sizes up to 7XL 60" / 152.5 cm.
If in doubt we recommend getting out the good old tape measure!
Measure from the top of the trousers in the back where the suspenders will attach, diagonally up over the shoulder and down to the point where the suspenders will attach to the trousers in the front. The brace sizes listed are fully extended. So, for example, if your measurement is 44" a size 48" suspender would fit.
